Panne Rizo: a gluten-free bakery in Vancouver
On a walk this sunny Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I passed by a cute little bakery on Cornwall avenue, Panne Rizo, and decided to give it a try. I ordered an americano and a gluten-free chocolate almond biscotti–they were both delicious.
Although I don’t avoid gluten myself, I would imagine this place would be a gluten-free paradise for someone that does.
What they offer:

- Breads (all dairy free), including loaves, buns and pizza crusts
- Muffins (dairy free)
- Pies (and butter tarts)
- Treats, including cookies, bars, and tiramisu
- Savory specialties such as panini, pot pies, pizzas and macaroni and cheese
- Special order cakes
- A selection of gluten-free pancake mixes, cake mixes and gluten-free flours
For more information, check out their website.

Thank you for this post – I’ll be visiting Vancouver at the end of the month and was hoping to find gluten-free spots!!
Great! The really nice thing about this place is that it is close to the beach. You can go for lunch, then take a stroll along the water.
